BeSMART.ie celebrates its 6th birthday this month!. The HSA's free online risk assessment tool now has almost 40,000 registered users and has clocked up over 300,000 website visits.
The success of BeSMART.ie is partly down to its continuous expansion and development. It has now grown to cover more than 270 business types across six major sectors,and contains over 460 individual hazard assessments.
This expansion is bringing the benefits of BeSMART.ie to more people than ever before, and last year saw record numbers of people using the site. In 2016 more than 7,000 comprehensive safety statements were generated using BeSMART.ie, helping businesses across Ireland to improve safety, save money, reduce paperwork and comply with the law.
The site is easy to navigate, avoids jargon, and includes a useful ‘learn more’ section containing extra tips, videos and guidance – a valuable resource for employers, managers, safety representatives and workers alike.
